FlashForward really should be a miniseries. It's clear the writers have no clue what they are doing even now nevermind for future seasons.

If FF gets one season, good. They can barely figure out how to fill up that much airtime. The logic of the premise has already been pretty well destroyed and the characters are only marginally interesting in their own right. I'm watching just to see how big of a douche the writers make poor Mark. Usually writers are nicer to their lead character - aren't we supposed to want to like the guy so we'll keep watching?

FF is interesting but it really feels like a one-season show. The FF comes true at the end of the season (it's only three months away right?) so what do you do after that? Do they get a new FF at the beginning of each season? That would be dumb. That would be like getting a prophetic vision of New York City getting destroyed at the start of every season :D

Have never watched the show Weeds have you?

I tried - didn't grab me - but I don't think it's because the main character was unlikable. :p I watch shows with serial killer, murderous bike gangs, meth dealers - far nastier types than a simple pot dealer. Yet all those guys have a certain logic and nobility to their actions. Mark is just an asshole for no good reason.

I recall saying something similar before the show started, what long term future did the show have, if the flashforward was only 3 months in the future.

(it might not have been on this fourm, but it could have been)

You haven't watched the later seasons. :)

^ Yeah but at least Nancy is entertaining.

That's because she is hot, even I think that. :)

Well obviously if I bailed on it, I haven't watched the later seasons! :rommie: And if one other show out of hundreds on TV has an unlikeable lead, it hardly represents any sort of trend.
