Design Challenge Proposal: Design a "Main Engeneering" for Abramsverse

see thread title. Lets say what we saw in the new movie was some of the "guts" of engeneering..but there still exists an old style "main hub" somewhere. What would it look like now?

I have to admit The lack of a "proper" engineering section kind of bugged me. I'll be interested to see if anyone takes up this challenge.

^ I'll take that as the nuEnterprises engineering. What we saw in the movie was merely the ships brewery, but because Kirk wasnt familiar with the ship yet he thought it was engineering.

Just watched the movie again this morning and ....what the hell was with the beer tanks in what was supposed to be the communications section????? When I first saw the film I thought they were some kind of overbright diplays (Abrams loves lens flares doesn't he) but if you look they are storage tanks for beer! Must be thirsty work!
