I'd grade this episode an "Excellent."

It was well done, House felt like "House" and the reveal with Cuddy hooked up with Lucas (!) was awesome, and nice kick-in-the-balls to House.

The PTOW story line was also well done with poor man's younger version of Eliza Dushku.

At first I thought what House did for Wilson - posing as him for the speech - was the most noble thing he'd ever done. Then we find out he was using the alias. So while it may not be the MOST noble thing..... it was still great

I had actually forgotten who lucas was... I'm like "I recognize that guy... who is he?", then House says "hey lucas" and I'm like "okay so I know him from the show.... hmmm"

The House/Wilson stuff was fantastic but we had a totally useless PotW plot because it felt stuffed in. It could've been interesting as an episode on its own but not every week needs to have a PotW if it's being thrown in.

7 episodes into the 6th season and we've had what... 2 episodes without a PotW? It's what the show is about.

No, the show is about House. The PotWs are usully throw aways. And in what episodes did we not have patients? If you mean the premiere I disagree because we had House himself along with the music box girl and his roommate.

I liked how the patient story affected Chase and Cameron's relationship, which dealt with Chase in his role as a doctor killing someone, which related (if ever so slightly and through different contexts) to Wilson's thoughts about doctors committing murder. Edgar Allan Poe was right: Unity of effect makes a great story.

And with some very well-handled House/Cuddy material, I was kept involved through every level of the episode. For that reason alone, it deserves "Excellent" from me.

I'm a little upset that Cameron didn't go back to apologize to the comic book guy myself. She all but accused him of being a pedophile and statutory rapist even though he didn't do a single thing wrong.

Such is the way of Cameron.
