anyone else DL this yet? I have it and it looks like it's gonna be well worth it, it's free, it gives you free stuff for your avatar, and it looks like that every saturday for the next 4 weekends you will get to watch a free episode from the upcoming Halo anime collab (Think the Animatrix, only Halo)

Yeah, I'm level 30. They haven't figured out a way to deal with Halo 2 achievements though.

If you already have gold and they give you something else it's free.

If I bought a set of tires and the dealer sends me a coupon for a free oil change 6 months later because I bought the tires then the oil change is free.
See how that works?
It's a perk for having a gold account.

So tired of hearing people complain over a lousy $50.00 a year.
If you look around it can be much cheaper than that and 13 months to boot.

Amazon and others often run 13 month cards for $38.00 - $42.00

True. It's not the money for me, $50 a year isn't much at all (and as you said, you can find better prices elsewhere). The only reason I don't have Gold is because I have no use for online multiplayer. I was thinking about upgrading to Gold next year so I could get Netflix through Xbox Live, but now that they'll be on PSN in the future I dunno.

It's actually every other Saturday. Speaking of which, it completely slipped my mind yesterday and I missed the first one.
