Halloween Costume Thread!

Too bad I didn't know. I have one of the actual metal finger props used for filming I could've lent you .

That's very generous, but I don't think I would've trusted myself with a screen-used prop for a Halloween costume. Plus, you wouldn't have gotten it back.

I went as a battle damaged T-800. At the beginning of the night I looked normal but, as the night progressed, I would add little bits of damage to my costume and I switched out my contacts and added the appliances (we had a LONG Halloween) to my face. At the end of the night I was wearing pretty much the entire Endoskull and a lot of the prosthetics I've acquired. I'll post pics later.

That sounds great! Look forward to the pics.

Its a little late but here's the ancient Sho-Rin with his "date" to the USO section of the party. The uniform is my Dad's from 1944 that I had never tried to wear before. It fit like it was tailored. The girl is another church member who just happened to dress up in 1940s style. If only somebody could photoshop about 40 years out of my face!

Likewise ..., by proxy sort of. We were on a cruise vacation and there was a big Halloween costume party and such on the ship. The Hubby and I were all ready with our costumes and everything. Then, the day before Halloween, The Hubby came down with the cold from hell, bronchitis, the whole thing, and he was miserable as hell. So, we stayed in our cabin, ordered room service and watched the surprisingly horrible Terminator Salvation on the ship's TV.

And I really liked my costume, too. Ah well, there's always next year, I guess.

Sorry to hear that. My nine year old ended up with a fever mid-afternoon and had to miss trick or treating. His little brother came through and took an extra bag to get candy for him and he and I watched a Harry Potter movie, so all was not lost.
