The "Windows 7" seven-patty Whopper in Japan.

To heighten awareness of Windows 7 in Japan, Microsoft and Burger King have teamed up for the "Windows 7 Whopper," which will have seven patties. The promotion will last seven days and the price of 777 yen ($8.50) is only good for the first 30 customers who come into the restaurant each day. After 30 customers, you'll have to pay double if you want one.

I guess you can't complain about Windows 7 crashing if you crash first.

Well this will even out the life expectancy discretion between the US and Japan....

Edit: Um, why can't I quote the Youtube link??? :wtf:

The [ yt ] [ /yt ] tags and the link get erased every time you quote a post or even if you edit your own post, so you have to remember to reinsert them manually each time.

 Really? I didn't have to do that...

Hmmm, maybe it's specific to a certain browser? Here's what Antony said in the sticky at the top of the forum:

I'm using Firefox, and I can't quote the YouTube link or edit my post without it disappearing.

Should I admit to having two of the TMP Happy Meal boxes in my collection of Trek memorabilia? :shifty:

(And no, I didn't buy them on eBay or at a con... I actually ate the food that came in them myself, 30 years ago. I also have two of the TNG Oreo boxes.)
That Klingon looks a bit like Worf....and no, not all Klingons look like Worf to me...I'm just sayin'....a skinnier relative...

As for the 7-stack...does Windows 7 come with a colonoscopy ap?

What's ironic about this is that the fast food burger industry and Microsoft are like two complete cultural opposites. In Bellevue, people shop at stores like Whole Foods and live off of Starbucks... as all of Microsoft's home region tends to do. Clean streets and healthy food is the lifestyle I think of when Microsoft is mentioned; yet here they are peddling what is debatably the most unhealthy food product ever created to Japanese people.

If the OS is anything like the burger, I want no part of it.

What a strange thing to do in JAPAN where people eat smaller portions in general. Hell, McDonalds had to create a size smaller than small just for this customer base.

Anyway, that looks really gross lol. I'll stick with my Chipoltaway.

Believe me, the OS is nothing like that burger.

I hate Chipotle, but only because they made me love them so much.

They also eat weird shit in Japan, so the burger isn't surprising. I'm just surprised they didn't dip it in mayo or something.

At In-n-out you can get a burger with however many patties you want. And they don't jack up the prices after a certain amount have been sold.

And that burger definitely needs 7 slices of cheese. Plus bacon. Everything is better with bacon.

No self-respecting hippy would buy Starbuck's coffee.
