The Sarah Jane Adventures S3 Discussion Thread (UK Pace)

That story made about as much sense as transformers 2.

Eve was hiding in a basement for a month or so a 5 minute walk from her spaceship and... In the end they just walk with her to it. This is like a story about a 4 year old who is won't cross the road without someone to hold her hand.

This whole adventure took place because eve was too much of a pussy to sack up and retrace her steps back to her space ship which was exactly where she left it and in constant communication with her, as if you couldn't go to the super market because your car was hidden in the driveway outside the house you are living in.

I loved the montage though. :)

Actually I think it was more a case of a disabled ship that wasn't going anywhere, and an over-protective park attendant who convinced her it was too dangerous to go outside.

He was right though, as soon as she went outside she started to lose it, if the ship hadn't had time to regenerate itself it probably wouldn't have been able to absorb her powers.

Um, yeah but that's exactly the point of the story! That sometimes aliens aren't invading conquerors but just lost children who need a hand to get home...

Have to say I agree with Guy, aside from the flashback clips, and the old Rani (who was wonderfully creepy) I was a trifle confused as to what was going on in this. I dunno, maybe I wasn't paying enough attention but I didn't like this anywhere near as much as Prisoner of the Judoon.

Well maybe not get is the wrong choice of words. It all just seemed a bit toothless. I don't mind that Eve wasn't an evil threat, but everything just got wrapped up so quickly and easily, even Eve's computer erasing Sarah Jane and co from existance.

I did love all the Time War references and the Pertwee/Baker clips.

Glad to see K-9 back where he belongs.

I hope they build up some healthy competition between K-9 and Mr. Smith. That scene with them together, as well as Mr. Smith's reaction seems quite interesting. I sayt that since Mr. Smith as been basically computer, butler, analyst, protector, confidante, and so many other things. I want to see how K-9's presence will affect this, now that K-9 has returned.

I hadn't thought about it before I read someone else mention it, but I'm hoping Mr Smith/K9 end up having a Zen/Orac style relationship now

And not a Bobbie Brown/Whitney Huston sort of relationship?

Forgot about the black hole. So the ship was broken, but eve was still a wuss, and still the ship and eve both had no idea that maria had a spare black hole on standby.

Um? What happened to the Black Hole when the Daleks stole the earth? I mean, K9 was in that Episode? They could have let it spin off intot he outter reaches or used the crucible to transolcate it, or used it as a weapon against the Daleks.

Bits and pieces about this week's episodes have been popping up everywhere over the last couple of days. Nigel Havers is such a charmer! I'm looking forward to the end of the week even more than ususal now. :)

I'm just about to watch 'Wedding' now... I can't stream it in HD as my computer is too slow, so downloading it and have 5 mintues left!! Can't wait!!! OMG NEW WHO!!!!

After the Doctor has his star turn tomorrow, I demand the rest of the series be solely devoted to K-9 and Mr Smith. Such bitching!

Loved the Doctor's crazy 'time's all out of whack' dancing :D
