What the hell, I'm the only one who's voted so far?

:wtf:

Anyway, I went with Red/Blue Blue, I thought this was far better than the last two eps. And even though she wasn't on camera as much this time, Chloe certainly made her presence felt.

My wife wants Chloe to come run her company's website.

I thought it was a decent episode.

I'll vote Red/Blue.

But, as I said, a pretty decent rip-off of the movie "The Game."

Pretty good. I thought it was Lex Luther involved until the end.

They sure wanted us to think that. I certainly didn't see the Chloe-as-puppetmaster coming, but probably should have.

So far, probably the best ep of the season, despite ripping off at least three different films in the process, with a touch of Dark Knight thrown in at the end.

Funny guys and ladies, but I think this episode was truly super-man (lol),but it was a save Olie episode, and I think next week's is leading up to Lois and Clark becoming a couple IMO,and as I stated before November is going to be great since Jor-El the clone or altenate Jor-El will be found in time to do battle against Zod.
The fact than Kandor in this universe was not destroyed is prepairing us for the storyline found in the New Krypton mini-series Volume 1-2,but keeping the Smallverse intact.
What do all of you think of my take on this?

Signed

Buck Rogers

I gave it a Superman, simply for the revelation that Chloe (with the help of an unseen Justice League) was behind it all. Good stuff tonight, especially on the Ollie front. Nice to continue the Kandor storyline and the last shot of Clark and Ollie was pretty good. That is indeed the closest we'll get to seeing Superman and Batman together in live action.

A few notes...

-Lois was annoying and sanctimonious tonight. So Clark lied to you...I'm sorry if that doesn't have all the intergrity of, say, creating your own superhero and trying to pass it off like it was a real story like you did in Stiletto.

-Lois vs Roulette...yet another Smallville fight that was better than Clark vs Doomsday.

-Nice throwback to last week with Oliver assuming it was Toyman who kidnapped him.

-Yes, Clark, Green Arrow, who has no powers whatsoever, is really going to be a help when fighting all those superpowered Kryptonians.

-Anyone else think that after Clark shook Oliver hand, it would have been funny if he pushed him off the building? ;)

I'll give it a Red/Blue Blur, it was better than i thought it was going to be.

I like the little twist that it was Chloe trying to SAAAAAAAAAVE Ollie. Clark is such an idiot, he doesn't know how to actually help Ollie. Chloe does though, and she did, she truly is a hero's best friend and ally. This is why I say Chloe is the real hero of the show, cause Clark sure aint.

Chloe mentioned Clark wouldn't have approved of what she did. I say, screw Clark. Did Clark ever tell Chloe that he mind-wiped her last season? The answer to that would be no so they both have their little secrets.

I fell asleep watching, not due to the content, but sleepiness.

Woke up for the last 5 minutes, Green Arrow is back...lots of Kandorians over Earth. I think I got the gist of it. Proves again the middle part of the show isn't necessary to following the series. ;)

I gave it a Superman - this is definitely my favorite episode of this season, so far. Maybe the relatively few Clark and Lois moments are what made it so good.

I like having Green Arrow back, too!

I think Chloe is a psycho now. She was crazy to put Ollie through all that shit.

During the car scene I was thinking,"Can you save me without destroying my fucking car!"

Some one wants to die, then you shoot them in the leg. See what happens, but odds are they're not going to be begging for another bullet.

Roulette is from the comics and cartoon.

Meh?

Roulette actually organized metahuman gladiator matches, like what Ollie was doing two episodes ago.

WTF?

But fuck me, if you're going to cast an asian actress that can act like 10 Thousand times better than Smith Cho of Night Rider Fame (Smith was prettier, but also more annoying.) and go to the extent of painting a dragon on her (was it a real tattoo?) for a Green Arrow story and she's not Shado, then the producers are fucking morons.

It's more about the tattoo than the asian, but put them together and I'm gobsmacked.

Ollie had a kid with Shado.

Lois chose the jaws trilogy because she didn't want to make out with Clark?

Ollie is now a moron.

You don't put your banking details into a computer you don't know is safe.

-Yes, Clark, Green Arrow, who has no powers whatsoever, is really going to be a help when fighting all those superpowered Kryptonians.

Oliver still has the Kryptonite ring he took from Lex, and I'm pretty sure he'd have no trouble getting himself some Kryptonite arrows made.

Wow ... I've never been in less agreement with the general consensus.

I thought this episode was really a ... complete waste of time. Jumps in the timeline, Lois suddenly popping up somewhere else when there was no given reason for her to be there. And Chloe seemed so frigging SMUG about what she'd done. Not the least bit genuinely happy.

The need to redeem Ollie was one thing, but I thought this was a very amateurish way to do it. And it wasn't especially well-written or original.

Loved the cat fight: street versus finesse. But after the "big redemption" I was just sitting there, wanting my hour back. (Well, my 41 minutes, since I Tivoed it).

All in all a very bad "loose ends" episode.

But with Green Arrow back, maybe things will pick up.

Blah. I did not like this episode. It had its moments and I am glad that Ollie has now out of his depression, but many things in this episode did not work.

I also hated that it was Chloe doing all the manipulating. At least to the extremes that she went. It was very outside her character. Honestly, I have not liked her character at all this season. They clumsily force conflict between her and Clark (which never made much sense). And now she's acting like some super secret cliched government operative. What is she actually doing as Watchtower other than spying on people for no apparent reason whatsoever. It seems the stuff she finds that is important (such as the Kryptonian stuff), she comes across by sheer chance.

I do have to give this episode some props by not having the lead in it very much. Clark took a very big backseat in it. I have to applaud Tom Welling on that one. Other series would feel the need to force the lead to be a major focus.

Did anyone else catch this week's roll-your-eyes-comics-reference-in-dialog?

Clark: "Let's just say that if there was an anti-life equation I think I found it."

Heh.

I caught that right away. I had to pause the video and laughingly boo it.

^ Yeah, that was very clunky, and makes no sense at all out of context like that. Much like the "White Queen" thing later on.

And I have to agree about not liking this episode either, for much the same reasons. There were things to enjoy but like the previous 2 episodes, I was just pulled out of them by the wtf crap, like Chloe being behind it all. Really not enjoying what they're doing with her this season. Plus, much fun as Lois and Clark's movie night was, with heroic save intermissions, it just made me miss when he used to do stuff like that with blondie.

I broke down and watched it when i got home...and give it a Kal-El. This finally seems to conclude the Ollie oh my god I killed Lex Luthor and am going down a dark path that is making me reject my heroism and second guess myself as a hero story line. Green Arrow reborn just in time for Speedy to appear in a few weeks (actually maybe sooner than that I forget what episode she's supposed to be in). I like the flirty friendship between Ollie and Lois that's developed. Also Guy Gardner is going to say he pointed this out a few weeks ago but now I see it...seriously...wtf is up between Ollie and Chloe? Are they going to hook up later in the season? Finally is it just me or is Ollie finally showing some stubble that is going to become a goatee later on this season? That would be cool
