That's an awesome business plan.
If said disaster occured, however, pet rescuing invitably would involve a mass breaking and entering campaign across the country. The application process should include a clause more specifically defining "Rapture" and the actual protocols to be followed under said circumstances.
In any case, if said rapture really occurred, that would automatically make all the Athiests believers, which would mean that they - realizing that shortly thereafter they would be burning in hell for all of eternity - probably would decide to abandon contract and enjoy the few moments left.
They should expand their service to also include post-2012 services.

This is bloody BRILIANT! Why the hell didn't I think of this???
I am quite willing to arrange a service to Trekbbs rapture believers that will insure that any pets left behind will be looked after by other Trekbbs members who are left behind. I will only charge 50% of what this firm is charging. Who would you rather look after your pets - total strangers or Star Trek fans?
Also I will also guarantee a special Trek tribute thread for all those raptured providing they pay me $US10 each to do so. A year after the Rapture I will post a memorial thread for the same people.

But they don't believe in it to start with... so they wouldn't believe it even if they saw it.
I will also try and find the Temple of Lights before the rapture claims our planet.

I had the same thought.
Considering that "stable job" is part of the requirements, though, I suspect it might a volunteer thing.
They charge for the service, though, so one would hope they pay their Rescuers.
