Tonight:

Team’s scramble to spot royalty in the jam packed streets of Cambodia and one team monkeys around and breaks a cardinal rule.

Don’t miss it tonight at 8/7c on CBS!

Darnit, this episode is going to be severely delayed for me, a football game just went into overtime, so that has to finish before 60 minutes can start, and then The Amazing Race after that, looks like it is going to be really late tonight before I can watch it :(

Yep, same here. I'd be annoyed if the game in question didn't involve the Patriots. Sorry, non-Patriots fans!

Well after a 45 minute delay, it was race time.

heck of a way to go from first to last. Last time a team lost their passport they were just stuck until they found it, now they can't check in. They also didn't seem in a big hurry to hunt for it either, likely knew t was a lost cause.

And who gets taxi driver's business card??

I'd still like to see a behind the scenes version of one of these episodes. I wonder if off camera, all teams have to present their travel documents to the production staff... probably a rule they implemented because they got caught off guard last time this happened.

But man, the poker girls got saved AGAIN. I'm sure there's a lame "flopped a flush on the river!" joke there or something.

Well that's a bummer. The one team that was actually entertaining got the boot. The one guy so reminded me of Sophia from Golden Girls. Everything he thought, he said, no censoring himself. He brought the funny.

Who is left to root for? I guess Sam and Dean. er, Dan. Still waiting for them to start making out. What?

Unbelievable that only ONE person recognized Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis. And that Mika actually said she looked so much like a Cambodian. (For you younger folks out there, "Bouvier" is also Marge Simpson's maiden name, an inside joke for us "older folks".)

Sometimes I weep for the national I.Q.

Was hoping that the monkey task would have been funnier. And I DID like a couple of the cab drivers this week. They looked like they were genuinely enjoying it.

I'm glad those two got booted. I couldnt stand either one of them. I'm hoping the two poker player chicks get dumped next.

I am rooting for the father and his pink haired son or the Harlem Globtrotter guys.

Lance is a tool. I like Keri, but cant stand him. I wish she could dump him and get another partner.

Glad I added that extra hour to my DVR. Otherwise, I would have had a recording of 60 Minutes instead.

Tough way for Justin and Zev to go out. Knew they were screwed when Phil checked them in and didn't give them a reward for being first.

Looks like Cambodia is pretty tourist-friendly. All the taxi drivers (and others) were helpful and knowledgeable. A lot more knowledgeable about Jackie Kennedy than most of the teams, it seems.

Yeah, I'm rooting for Gary and Matt. And I kind of like the Globetrotters as well.

I can't stand either of those two, but she's definitely the lesser of two evils.

I really felt embarrassed for my age bracket. I recognized her right away; I couldn't believe it when only Gary knew who she was.

Eh. I don't judge people for not knowing pop culture. I would rather they paid attention to the words in the Constitution or (if it has to do with the Kennedys) the Cuban missile crisis, etc.

Pop culture? She was the First Lady of the United States.

Unfortunate way to get eliminated for Justin and Zev. I also have to join the chorus in hoping that Lance and Kerri disappear soon!

Also, please tell me I wasn't the only one both incredibly distracted and slightly confused by what the Cambodian woman at the pit stop was wearing! I'm amazed they didn't have to censor it at points...

Heya, I'm not going to be here Sunday to put up the amazing race thread for this week, I'm going out of town for the weekend, perhaps someone else can put a thread up on Sunday? Would much appreciate it

I COULD NOT believe that so few people didn't recognize Jackie Kennedy. I was ACTUALLY dumbfounded. In the one quick flash I recognized her the very first time I saw her and I AM AUSTRALIAN!!!! For that one tool to think she looked Cambodian........Holy fuck!!!

I guess Harlan Ellison was right - for the young, nostalgia is what they had for breakfast.

And what the FUCK about the rule change of not being able to check in without your papers? There are TOO MANY ad hoc rule changes now in this show - last time it was the dwarves being penalized for selling their shoes or something when we have seen SO MANY people sell shit in the past to raise money.

Lame.

While I knew it was Jackie, I'm a history buff.

Most of the players are in their early twenties and the Kennedy's are ancient history to them. She was First Lady for three years nearly 50 years ago. They likely know her name but not what she looks like.
