New Tricks gets 2 more series

I don't watch New Tricks but I know there's a few people round here who'd be interested in the new that it's been picked up for 2 more series.

Popular BBC1 drama New Tricks will run until at least 2011 after the broadcaster ordered two further series.

Wall to Wall will make a seventh series to air in 2010, followed by series eight in 2011. Both runs will be 8 x 60 minutes.
The show wrapped its sixth run last week with 7.7m viewers.

Well after New Tricks ended The Bill managed to be No.1 show of the hour... Who thought it was a good idea to make The Bill a 9pm show?

Well after New Tricks ended The Bill managed to be No.1 show of the hour... Who thought it was a good idea to make The Bill a 9pm show?

yes it was No1 in the time slot, but it only added about 300,000 extra viewers, and the ratings still did not beat the ratings of the first 9pm episode.

Beside the competition was weak, if theBill can repeat being No1 in the timeslot against Criminal Justice, that will mean something

as for whos idea it was to move the Bill to 9pm, well ITV I guess, not sure which one person made the decision.
