Trek music

I'm sure this has been discussed here before (I think every possible Trek related thing has) so I apologize. Anyway I was just watching a show on the Science Channel called Super Massive Black Holes & wasn't listening that closely until I heard what sounded like Star Trek music. After a few seconds I got it, it was part of the overture prior to the start of TMP.

It got me thinking how many other shows have used Trek music? I remember hearing the theme from Generations years ago for something (I want to say sports related) but other than that I can't remember anything else.

Not really a show, but they really love First Contact's soundtrack on dutch Classic FM. I've heard it at least 5 times in the past few weeks (Though they always say it's from "the movie Star Trek", which kind of annoys me)

I heard the Enterprise B fanfare from "Star Trek: Generations" (Dennis McCarthy) during an outro on FOX News.

On a similar note, I heard "Stung Kissing" (I think that's the cue name) from "The X-Files: Fight the Future" (Mark Snow) in a PBS antarctica special.

And the cue "Willow Kills Warren" (ghostwritten by Tony Morales) from season 6 of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" used in one of those FOX specials on amazing videos. A car was smashing into a store, as I recall.

With 28 seasons and 11 movies there has to be some good music in there. I wonder how many people use it as a source for other shows without us noticing?

You can hear bits and pieces from the Wrath of Khan and Search for Spock in every other soundtrack James Horner has ever done.

Hmm, and I consider myself a fan of James Horner...I need to ponder this some more...
