Favorite Character Tournament - October Madness

I did this 4 or 5 years ago on the startrek.com message boards and everyone seemed to enjoy it, so I figured I'd try it here. Using all of the main characters and some recurring characters (from every series, including the animated one), I'm setting up a tournament to see who the board's favorite character is. Rather than attempting to "seed" the characters, I've randomized all the first-round matchups. Just vote for which of the two characters in each matchup is your favorite. After a certain amount of time (whenever the voting dies down I guess) I'll announce the winners and put up the random 2nd round matchups. Hopefully people will enjoy this, and don't get mad at me if your two favorite characters meet in Round 1, I did all the matchups at random.

P.S. - If I left out one of your favorite characters, sorry!

P.P.S. - I didn't see that there was a favorite character game already. Hopefully this is different enough in format that people can still do it. It will be interesting to see if we get the same results here.

Dukat, Ro Laren, Damar, Weyoun...

I tried to get a good mix from all the series. For Dukat, Damar, and Weyoun, I thought things were beginning to get a little too DS9 heavy and I was trying to limit it to 64 characters. There's about 20-25 other characters I could have added, a dozen from DS9 alone - but that's the way it goes.

I can't believe you have great characters against each other - Odo vs Sisko, McCoy vs Quark, Kira vs Seven, Kirk vs The Doctor, and lame pairings like Vorik vs Neelix or Sulu vs Wesley

What part of random pairings didn't you understand? I was trying to do something quick and fun, rather than ranking all 64 characters and creating an elaborate bracket for this tournament I didn't even know if anyone would participate in in the first place. I wish we didn't have some of those great matchups right off the bat too, especially Bones and Quark, but remember, someone's "lame pairings" might be some very underappreciated characters to someone else.

It's just supposed to be a little bit of fun. I wasn't intending to cause rolling eyes and angry Klingons.
