    ugh... so annoying. They should have filmed this like a tv episode with proper fades.

    Yeah, I think I saw it written like that in some reading, the device he is calling is a Kino.

    Given that they're like 5 - 10 galaxies away from the Milky Way, way, way past where the Ancients have "seeded" human colonies, I'm kinda interested to see what they come up with for alien encounters.

    ... on the other hand, I'm calling it now. They'll run into humans left behind from an Ancient scout ship or something.

    You're right about one thing, this show does really have a theatrical feel to it. It's bigger, bolder than either of the previous Gates.

    Yeah, I noticed that right off. I certainly wouldn't mind watching it on a theater screen....it's got that scale to it.

    I think they are more than 5-10 galaxies away, he said billions of light years, i bet it has traveled through hundreds if not more of galaxies

    They said they are going to show non standard aliens, i hope so

    Isnt there doors to the section the shuttle is in to close? seems weird

    yes, the mechanism is jammed, they can't close that door, so, they need to close the shuttle door

    Also cant the get the kino camera to somehow bump the close button?
