They succeeded in making it feel cinematic though. I'll give them that. I can imagine watching this on the big screen with no problem. It seems bigger.

Is it just me, or is the hotheaded Sergeant guy just like Bates on Atlantis?
 
My only complaint so far is the jarringly non-linear method of telling the story. I'm sure there's a reason why they went this way, but I think I'd like it better if we saw the whole think unfold in order.
 
They used to fade away the Sci-Fi logo before a commercial break so you knew it was coming, but this abruptness is pissing me off.

I guess it's that Lost/BSG/Heroes way of doing things.
 
I would of rather had an 11th season of SG-1, or a Stargate Command dealing with the Lucian Alliance, than this so far.

My main complaint too.

I like how it is more "Earth" tones and not as colorful as Atlantis.
