As Kat gathers the courage to break free from her unhealthy marriage to Raymond, Roxie tries to protect her daughter from a hounding ex-boyfriend. Meanwhile, Joanna and Penny attempts to uncover the truth behind Darryl Van Horne's identity by seeking the help of a town recluse.

I was impressed by the redhead in a nightie getting her ass grabbed. :)

I'm guessing you mean Jamie Ray Newman's character Kat and not Sara Rue (two Redheads). To be honest I find myself too distracted by the women on this show to even care what's going on with the plot.

Yeah... me too. The three leads are pretty eye catching. I like the fact that Rebecca Romijn isn't doing her usual skinny model look in this one, she's still very attractive but not the skinny bitch like she usually plays. Its a pretty lookin' cast. I feel for Lindsay Price back in Lipstick Jungle, and I think she was in Pepper Dennis too as RR's assistant I think. So its kinda cool to see them back together on screen. At least in this one, Lindsay's character isn't the "little sister" of the group, they're all kind of equal, I only caught part of this when someone had a store TV tuned to it, I forgot what time it was on. Damn ABC and their "new premiere week" hard to figure out when stuff is on.

As pretty as the show is, I don't think it'll last too terribly long. But then I didn't think Desperate Housewives would last too long either. Seems the public at large doesn't like seeing pretty "older" actresses on a TV show for more than a year.

So...is there anything about the show that would appeal to someone who doesn't really care that much about looking at pretty women? I don't mind it, but, you know, that's not why I watch a show. (Edit: Actually, I don't watch a show just to look at great-looking men, either, though sometimes that helps. ;) )

I really disliked the movie. I can't remember why, it came out so long ago now, but I remember sitting down to watch it, anticipating that it would be good, and it was just a big flat nuthin'. That doesn't mean the TV show would have the same effect, of course. But then again, it could be worse!

2 episodes in and I'm losing interest, and I don't see how they can drag it out for more than a season really. I'll maybe give it a couple more but I need a better reason to watch a show than a good looking cast.
