Starbreaker,

I agree with you. I can't believe that either.

So does that means 90210 and Melrose Place go kaboom? They can't compete against two hours of different shows of original NCIS and NCIS: Los Angels!

CW won't cancel those shows because both shows are virtually all female audiences in that 18-34 demo...Oh and CW are fucking braindead ;)

What? Are you telling me that CW won't cancel those shows? Good god, you're right about the cw network! It's fucking brain dead that filled up with life support that awaits to be pulling the plug!

They don't have anything else to air.

My thoughts exactly! To me, they should cancelled this both shows already! The rating has already proven that!!!

Those are actually normal for CW shows. They don't cancel anything until it goes under a million viewers.

Well not a million though they had a few shows canned who were under that margin but under 2 million saw Privileged canned. I do think Melrose Place could be canned though only a maybe but 90120 won't be.

In the interest of what the CW will and won't cancel, here are the final ratings for 90210 and Melrose last night.

90210 (note: 91% coverage, CW usually has 94%)
- 2.209 million viewers
- 1.6/3 HH
- 1.1/3 A18-49
- 1.5/5 A18-34
- 2.4/7 W18-34

Melrose Place (also 91% coverage)
- 1.420 million viewers
- 1.1/2 HH
- 0.8/2 A18-49
- 1.0/3 A18-34
- 1.5/4 W18-34

There were some sports preemptions. Melrose Place is in dire, dire straits. Supernatural's final in the female 18-34 demo was a 1.7/5 last week. At 1.4 million and with a lower female demo than one of the "guy" shows, Melrose is heading to cancellation city. Gossip Girl's 18-34 female demo, even with only 2.4 million viewers and change, was a 3.2/8. Literally every Nielsen household that watched Gossip Girl was filled with 18-34 year old females. It's female demo is higher than its household rating. That's why Gossip Girl will stay and Melrose will go to the graveyard after Heather Locklear has made her guest appearance. Look at 90210--it's female demo is higher than its HH rating as well, and so is One Tree Hill's.

The CW should put The Vampire Diaries on Monday to Friday at 8PM already. :p

Talents are being wasted on TrekBBS. You need to run CW stat!!!

I guess given these numbers we are never going to have Smallville end are we?

I've got an idea for The CW to compete with NCIS that's right down their demographic alley -- ROTC.
