No I don't mean your own I mean the one attached to the face of your man. I always wear the stereotypical mustache and goatee, for years, unless I am working a job where it is not allowed. Sometime it gets a little unruly and I'm the kind of guy who likes to start over from scratch so I shaved it all off, fully intending to grow it back mind you. And my girlfriend had a fit. She went on for two weeks about how it was like being with a stranger, and how it would be just like if she shaved her head. Now keep in mind when she meant me I did have a mustache but not a beard. Needless to say I felt a little put off.
So how important is this? Would you take her side that it's a big change to just spring on her, or my side that she is overreacting? How important is it for your guy to not drastically change his look without a consult first? And most importantly would it effect how, ahem, close you want to be with him?
