scfi's BEST SEX SCENE

Sarah Michelle Gellar was just...well, she just seemed so into getting the bidness from Spike that it made the scenes seem hotter than they actually were.

However SMG has gone on record saying how disgusting and out of character she felt the scenes were.

Not a sex scene but Mathilda May in "Lifeforce"

It should be a law that every adolescent male should watch this movie

Hell yes.

I'd say the Kyle Reese/Sarah Connor scene in The Terminator is the closest a movie scene has ever given me the sensation of doing the real thing. It's beautiful yet primal the way James Cameron shoots it and the music is also perfect.

This was the best one. No surprise why he married her.

Isn't that the point?. :wtf:

My favorite is in BSG's Lay Down Your Burdens. It wasn't steamy or arounsing but rather haunting when Baltar and Gina went at it as they kept cutting to the inauguration ceremony. Great scene.

And who really cares what she thought? SHE GOT paid for doing it on screen...and now she has regret? What a loser...

probably the most memorable "sex scene" in "science fiction" would have to be Janet and Rocky from "the Rocky Horror Picture Show" because DUDE, it was an entire musical number! It's so ludicrous, yet the song is really catchy.

No.

Actually she and David Fury were vocally opposed to it even while the show was going on. She was a professional about it, even though she disagreed with it. But when asked in the press about it, it would have been untruthful for her to lie and say she was a supporter of it.

And loser? Unlike The Joss, her films actually made money. And she has a show on HBO coming up. Unlike Whedon, who most successful product since the end of Buffy was a YouTube skit.

ha ah ha So true thrall.

But let's not count our eggs before they hatch. Personally I'll say the biggest post Whedon big shot will have to be Alyson Hannigan.

David Boreanz is doing pretty well, too. How many seasons has BONES been on now?

Not to mention Seth Green, Julie Benz, etc.

Yes.
It's not quite as good but I did enjoy the Matt Murdock/Elektra Natchios sex scene in the Theatrical Cut of Daredevil. It's not as explicit as the one in The Terminator but you get a sense of how much these characters need each other, both physically & emotionally, in a way that no one else will ever be able to fulfill.
LOL That was terrible. They actually panned to a log fire. I'm glad they ditched it for the Director's Cut.

Oh yeah forgot about Julie Benz. I guess when I meant success I meant main stream. Not indie, Sci - fi fanboyish success.

I also forgot Christina Hendricks. AND Nathan Fillion finally had a show go past S1!!!

I've got to second Kane and the facehugger. The most memorable sci-fi eroticism is the stuff that's weird and screwed up, and Alien is quite up there as far as that goes. Interestingly, O'Bannon said he wanted the facehugger to target a man so that'd it unsettle men in the audience rather than possibly titillate them in a rape fantasy sort of way... and yeah, mission accomplished.

Julie Benz is a co-star on Dexter, a successful drama series. That is plenty mainstream and until reading this thread I didn't know she had any sci-fi/fantasy connections.

I just finished watching Season Three of DEXTER last night. Julie Benz is really good in it . . . and nothing like Darla.

vanilla sky, between Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, no butt or boobies, but they're big stars and Cameron just about gets her head put through the drywall. hot.
Yes, that was a great scene.

My contribution is from Witchblade, the 2001 TV series. First off, the witchblade is an ancient armor-like weapon, commonly worn like a glove, that can only be wielded by a woman. Now one man, Kenneth Irons, the rich and powerful villain of the story has been obsessed with the witchblade for a long time. The "sex scene" I'm thinking of takes place during the last episode (spoilers ahead...) when the witchblade is right there in front of him and he finally sinks his arm into it and puts it on with great satisfaction, savoring the moment he's been waiting for. For him, that was sex and you could tell. He finally "did it". It was very memorable in part because it was very sexual.

I have two other scenes that I like. One is from Firefly and the other is from Dead Like Me. Both involve Jewel Staite and both were done in the same position.

It's horror, but I don't think I'll ever forget the tree rape scene from Evil Dead when I was about seven years old.

"Rocky Horror" defies any attempt at labeling...LOL..

It was also implied later on in the film that Lambert was raped by the Alien before she died.

Where was that implied?
