With the past still left unresolved, the NCIS team must find a way to put it aside and concentrate on another investigation, but while looking for Ziva's replacement, the team comes to a stunning revelation.

Callen returns back to the NCIS Office of Special Projects to solve a kidknapping case.

I wish they had come up with a better name for NCIS LA. They're undercover operatives, right? What's wrong with NCIS Undercover?

Okay, that was a pretty badass ending.

"Remember when I told you my boss was a sniper?"

NCIS was a standard ep. Nothing special, but nothing bad either.

NCISLA was pretty lame, I thought. No real chemistry, just a subaverage detective show. Maybe it will pick up.

NCIS: Excellent ... I really liked how the plot unfolded.

I would have given NCIS-LA an average rating but it looks like you didn't give us a multiple choices option(?)

I was expecting more BANG for the NCIS premiere to be honest. The way the finale was done made me really think they'd have a stellar first episode. It was a good episode though. Hopefully next week will be the episode I was expecting.

NCIS:LA was OK. They seemed to have worked better in the episode "Legend" than they did in this episode. Hopefully it will find its feet quickly because I think it has potential.

Not so much as a word to explain why Macy wasn't there. At times it just seemed a bit silly. Legend was pretty good, but the finished product seems more like Knight Rider.

NCIS was excellent with a great badass Gibbs moment! I ended up DVRing LA just to check it out but I haven't watched it yet.

I was fighting to stay with NCIS:LA a little less than half way through...

If you ask me, the only thing worth saving on that show is LL and Chris. You could dump the entire rest of the cast and I wouldn't care. But those two at least act like they are partners and have worked together for some time in a unit/team. The rest of them are card board cutouts.

Yeah, I enjoyed the banter between Callen and Sam, but I wouldn't miss the rest of the cast if they were mysteriously replaced by others between this episode and the next.

We don't even need all of them. All you need is LL, Chris, and a "guy/girl in the van" character, think tom arnold in true lies, and perhaps a "cute chick" character, just because there are times when you need a hot woman for undercover work. That is it a three or four person team who operates undercover and answers directly to the NCIS director.

So how did Gibbs kill the terrorist boss from his sniper point and then show up at the base 10 seconds later?

And NCIS being on the same playing field as the CIA just made me laugh for some reason this episode.

A little trick he learned from Captain Robau, no doubt.

Yeah, I've been rolling my eyes at that since they first started turning the show from a criminal investigative one to an espionage one a couple years ago. Apparently something similar happened with JAG, but I never watched that, so I wouldn't know.

The NCIS:OSP:LA cast is odd. They made the youngest cast member the new Ducky, and neither the new boss nor the computer nerd they brought back are listed as regulars.
