Just got back from a baseball game. Much drinking took place. Now enjoying a bit of scotch. Tomorrow is the start of Octoberfest. Much drinking will again take place. If you happen to be drinking this weekend, or are considering it, stop by and post.

I had a bourbon and coke tonight which is a very rare thing. The GF and I went to see her co-workers band the Boxing Gandhis play in L.A.

There will be beer in my immediate future since Elmo's dad is coming down to help me install a fold-down ladder for the attic today. This activity requires beer so that all the measurements and cuts are accurate

I've been doing my drinking during the week this week. Looking back over the week reads like an alky's shopping list: multiple G&Ts, a rather good South African Pinotage, a suprisingly nice Argentinian Chardonnay, too much Sangria (don't ask...), several different kinds of beer I can't remember, tequila slammers, rum & coke, and some other stuff I can't quite recall. The weekend will be relatively abstinent; I need a rest.

    Not really... that's bad, isn't it? :D

Actually, to tell the truth, there were a few parties with various different groups of friends this week. Leaving do's and some overdue get-togethers. Coincidentally, everything somehow got scheduled to the same week for me. Happy times, but I doubt my liver agreed. :D

My company put on a big show last night and for some reason I drank cider at the after party and something I only knew to be purple during the event.

I put on a poor show though and didn't drink much as I felt like crap most of the day.

    I didn't:lol:

I nodded off about the time the machine first appeared, and woke up just as kirk was ramming the starship down it's throat. I caught brief glimpses now and then of the rest. The girlfriend was riveted as she'd never seen the ep before. good times. I see this as bad planning on my part. I should've gotten wasted for wolf in the fold, it would've made watching that one easier.

I went on a stag do yesterday, we went clay pigeon shooting in the morning, go karting in the afternoon, and then we had a barbeque and got extremely drunk in the evening.

I polished off a couple of bottles of wine and a few beers at least.

I'll probably have a beer and a glass of wine watching the Ravens game later, but then will take it easy for a few days.

^What would have made things really interesting is if you had gotten drunk before you went shooting and go karting. :)

Well, we've got a few hours of weekend left:)

Tonight me and the lady are making homemade pizzas. Her pineapple and canadian bacon pizza just came out, and my alfredo chicken and black olive is going in.

as for the drinking, I'm drinking a 1554 black ale. It's made by the people who brew fat tire, so it's excellent.

Well, give it a try sometime. These six bottles have been my first sample of it and it's nice. I'm not sure it's an equal to fat tire, but it's not bad. It's very smooth and has a kind've chocolate taste.
