Doc Martin New Series

Bob The Skutter

Complete Arse Cleft
In Memoriam
Heads up for anyone who may be interested, the new series starts Sunday at 9pm, also in HD for anyone with Freesat.

Doc Martin
Sunday 20th September on ITV1 from 9:00pm to 10:00pm
New series of the popular comedy drama. Since Martin and Louisa both got cold feet on their wedding day, Louisa has left, and Martin has been finding life in Portwenn infuriating. When he unexpectedly meets his old flame Edith, now a top-ranking doctor who is clearly surprised at the way his life has turned out, he starts to consider new directions. But Martin's thoughts are turned upside down when Louisa returns - with big news of her own. Meanwhile, Pauline considers an offer from Al.

Digital Spy have an interview with Martin Clunes about it here.

Sadly I'll miss this as my house has no televisional reception.

However the fact they've decided to make another series pleases me as the wedding episode would have been a terrible place to leave it, given that it was easily the worst episode they had ever done. Adding a new character may give it some fresh storylines as well (as fresh as any love triangle storyline can ever be.)
I just wish they'd bring back Wycliffe as well.
Easily the two best recent series ITV has done.

Might not be very good but you could always watch the live stream on ITV.com or watch later on ITV Player...

^Thats the plan, but I've never used ITV player. A friend informed me it was like BBC iPlayer (which is awesome by the way), but 'totally rubbish'. This will be the first time I have a reason to find out. Exciting times!

I watched the first season of this show a while ago and thought it was absolutely not funny or interesting at all, it didn't make me smile even once. Am I missing something or what's the point?

It's lower resolution, uses Silverlight instead of Flash and has ads in it, but it works.

They are upgrading ITV player and it has messed every thing up Long list of complaints on the ITV board.
But someone on the site said the Scotish version is working it does not have all the same shows has the English player but it has most of the prime time shows on there.
