If you're in the States, go to tvguide.com or zap2it.com and do a search for "Star Trek: The Next Generation" for your area.

I tried it this afternoon because I wanted to see if SyFy was going to air it again any time soon...

Our former UPN affiliate (owned by CBS but not our CBS affiliate) came up. For just one week, oddly enough.

They'll be airing TNG, starting with FARPOINT, as of 4am Tue morning thru Saturday. The following week, nothing showing up yet.

I'll also mention here that the episodes aren't really in order. They're all from season one, but it skips quite a bit.

Check your listings. See if it's airing in your area on any station. (Focus in on any CBS affiliates or a station formerly owned by Paramount.)

TNG airs in my home whenever I want it to. No commercials, no banner ads, no second-run syndication edits of more ad time, just pure, great, Trek. :)

But half the fun is watching it at the same time as others.

However, according to the CBS/Paramount TV format sheet, the third and fifth breaks have a minute more than they did originally, which means two minutes have been edited for this new run. Bummer.

/Even though I have the full run on LD, that is...

Yep, CBS is returning TNG to syndication following the success of the new film. In some markets its airing after the primetime line up. For me it airs in the Pittsburgh Market at 11:00p.

I'm jealous.

The station that's now our CW affilate carried TNG in syndication for YEARS in the early evening, before it ended up on SPIKE.

Now, the independent has it scheduled for FOUR IN THE MORNING, TUESDAY THRU SATURDAY. (VERY late Monday-Friday nights....sort of.)

So much for LIVE viewing, tho' now there may be a better chance for me to finally get season seven recorded. (I've been trying since the final SPIKE run...which ended without year seven's episodes being played.)

The airdate order, especially for first season episodes, was different from production order. They may be showing the series in the original airdate order.

^ That doesn't seem to be the case. For me tomorrow night they're airing The Big Goodbye which aired either 11th or 12th if memory serves.

Sadly, that's not the case.

As said, they're SKIPPING quite a bit. After about seven episodes, scattered ones from season one, they're set to move immediately into year two. :(

I just wanted to report that, apparently, some networks are already dropping it from their lineups for low ratings.

The Pittsburgh market has dropped it already. They conclude this coming Friday.

My cousin lives in Ohio and he told me his affiliate has already stopped airing it and it was replaced with Family Guy.
