Licking plastic bags is better than what my new kitten did. My soon to be son-in-law found a cute calico kitten running around outside Wal-Mart and he brought her to my daughter. I was sitting on the floor with a plastic garbage bag on my lap, sorting some magazines when the kitten came running into the room and squatted on the bag. She began to piddle on it immediately. She jumped up and ran away when I shrieked. We named her Stinky.

Licking plastic a lot can be bad for them and it can indicate a nutritional deficiency.

My cats love to lay on plastic bags. I'm not worried about them choking or anything, because they're not that stupid; I don't let them lick them though.

My fat cat loves playing with them. I figure as long as Tubby's getting exercise it couldn't hurt.

Is that his name...Tubby? I have a fat cat too...he's 17 and named Fat Bastid...and that was his name before the Austin Powers movie. I'm ahead of the comedy curve.

My family's cat loves plastic bags...doesn't lick them, but loves to make them make noise, and then sleep on them.

my old cat Toby used to like playing with plastic bags until he got his foot caught in the handle . . . he ran around the house crashing into things because it was 'chasing' him
poor guy was terrified, and ever since then he would go on alert whenever he heard a plastic bag
