Happy 090909 Day!

Candlelight

9th of September, 2009.

I feel much better already.

The only day of the year when American and British dates can read one and the same.

21 years ago my son turned 8 on the 8/8/88.

This was considered the luckiest day of the century according to the Chinese calendar because 8 is a lucky number. My local paper found 9 children who were turning 8 and one guy who was turning 88. The newspaper funded a party for them.

On the news tonight, there was a story about a wedding that happened at 9am this morning also.

And for Godwinning this thread I shall say:

999999

Yes, a positively epic day. Mostly it's like any other day, except for the awesome Beatles releases. I also should be able to relax today after a series of stressful times.

Happy 999! :D

At work today we had tonnes of reductions - lots more than normal. And the sun is shining unusually bright today.

I just happened to look at the computer clock at 9:09 (am). My seven year old thought it was cool when I pointed out that it was 09/09/09 at 09:09. Then he went back to playing Super Smash.

I really can't wait until 11:11 AM on November 11, 2011. That will be epic!

Also wouldn't British and American date systems be the same one day every month? 1/1/09, 2/2/09, etc.
