House - Why don't people like Chase and Cameron?

Yes, I'm a bit sick of Foreman and 13. I find Taub to be far more interesting. I like that Chase has more of a sense of humor and is a bit more laid back. Foreman, on other hand, is so laid back that he seems to be sleep-walking.

And the relationship between him and 13 is so forced. I have NO idea what they see in each other, or why they would even be together in the first place. They're simply a couple because the script calls for it.

My mom says it's because since Cameron died her hair blonde (go back to brunette!), she and Chase look like brother and sister, and she gets creeped out. I think that's hilarious.

I think she actually is blonde. Maybe not the horrible color she had last year, but blonde either way.

I never thought some one could be laid back and have a stick up his ass at the same time. It's amazing, but still boring.

Well, obviously going from dark to light they'd have to dye it blonde. But that has nothing to do with her natural color.

And there are plenty of pics of her with more normal looking light hair.

Well, I believe that events on the show and the status of the show ironically coincided around the end of last season.

House has jumped the Cuddy.

I like Cameron and Chase, but I didn't like the way their characters were handled in Season 4 + 5. Actually I clean cut would have been nice: Old ducklings leave, new ones arrive. And maybe a guest-apperance by Chase or Cameron once in a while. But in the last two seasons they were around without anything to do. In season 4 the two were almost reduced to extras. There would have been better ways to handle these characters. But I'm glad that this is about to change in the episodes to come.

I also like Chase and Cameron. Cameron going blonde was a bit of a surprise, but I appreciate their roles even more now that they're barely on the show. When they do make appearances, it's usually amusing.

I agree with this... it felt like they were being shoehorned in for no real purpose other than to keep them around. I'd have preferred them to either do something that mattered or have shown up less often.

I actually like pretty much everyone on the show to some degree. Yes, even Foreman and 13

I actually like Chase and Cameron fairly well, though I think all the characters on the show pale in comparison to House and Wilson, just by the very nature of the show.

It's Thirteen that everyone seems to hate, which I don't really get. I think she's fine, as are(were) the other two, Taub and Kutner, though Amber was by more interesting than any of them by far.

Cuddy is the one I'm not crazy about--I don't hate the character, but her no-yes-no-yes schtick with House on the job, romantically, whatever is old. I wish they'd stop trying to pair the two because I think it's hurting the show. Either commit to it or don't do it, but it's not even UST anymore. It's like overcooked UST to the Nth degree.

I personally liked Chase but they never gave him a proper storyline. They killed his "Dad is dead and he isn't in the will" story pretty quickly.

Cameron however. Blergh. She died in my eyes when she got the hots for House. Wow it's impossible for a woman to work under a man without wanting to be under him.

They are useless and annoying. What other reason do we need to hate them? Oddly enough they are still somehow better than Foreman.

There is a reason the show is named House and not "House and Friends". I have a feeling through the series will end with House owning a bar and making fun of people who come it.

13 everyone hates because she is a whiny, annoying, bitch who get's too much screen time, and her and Foreman are the worst couple in TV show history, he character is just horrible. That said the writers of the show suck. They said in an interview "We will never blow things up like ER" and this was only a few episodes after they blew up some room!

The writing on the show sucks and the only reason why more people don't see that is because Hugh Luarie is a great actor.

You just listed three episodes out of a show that has 110. The writing as a whole is horrid. The show really should only have 13 episodes a season because it's clear the writers can't fill in the blanks.

Also there were 9 main characters on the show, and none of them really have any true back story besides House and Wilson.

To be fair it's the problem with most shows, they can write the season finales and premieres, but then 15 episodes between are horrible garbage that just makes you hate the characters or think they are insanely stupid.
