How is he not identified as Clark Kent or the Black Sliver Blur, since that's his face, and those are his powers?
Gotta wonder about the shield in the public domain that there won't be T-Shirts and coffee mugs of that infamous pentagon everywhere after Kal spending a few episodes as Superemo... Wow. Super-emo or Supremo? That's taking me well back to the beginning and all that Lead them with strength gobsmack.

Actually it reminds me more of a Smallville version of the black and silver "containment suit" from the Return of Superman storyline. Remember that this isn't the Superman suit. This is just Clark embracing his Kryptonian heritage and rejecting his Clark Kent human persona. I'm assuming that he probably has secluded himself in the Fortress of Solitude from the end of last season's events and the start of season nine begins with him having that conversation with Jor-El about wanting to start his training.
This clark is such a farce of the comic book Clark Kent it's not even funny. He has such a defeatist attitude about everything. Lois is missing and he can't find her. Jimmy is killed, and when Chloe needs him the most he acts like a fucking pussy and instead shuts himself away from anyone. All of this designed to tell more stories instead of starting to develop his character and mature him. Jeez he's like fucking twenty two or twenty three in Smallvile. The way he acts and conducts himself he's like a six year old.

I saw Black Panther yesterday on the iron man cartoon. He kicked ass. That toon makes Smallville's balls look like tiny white chocolate mint hershies kisses.
talking of the Superman suit, I had a dream last night, very basically dream me was meant to be seeing The Final Destination with a group of people, however I stay behind to see what else was on, and never managed to find which screen the movie was being shown on, so I ducked into another one, which turned out to be "Smallville: The Movie" a green screen production (like Sky Captain only with brighter colours) and Tom Welling wearing Brandon Routh suit, I was not impressed and left the screen to find something else.
I dont recall.
The garb Tom's wearing reminds me a little of the black suit from the aborted Tim Burton Superman Lives concept art.
