So, what's on your gaming list for the rest of the year?

Mine:

Guitar Hero 5 (Xbox 360) - 11/9
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (Playstation 3) - 25/9
Scribblenauts (Nintendo DS) - 25/9
FIFA 10 (Xbox 360) - 2/10
Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 (Playstation 3) - 23/10
WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2010 (Playstation 3) - 23/10
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City (Xbox 360) - 29/10
Left 4 Dead 2 (PC) - 17/11
Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360) - 20/11

MW2
L4D2
maybe IL Sturmovik or whatever its called-WWII flying game that got an 8.5 review.
Then, possibly, Darkest of Days.

Halo 3: ODST
Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition (I've been putting off buying this one until the GOTY, which will include all of the DLC)
Dragon Age: Origins
IL Sturmovik
Borderlands

That's a huge list of games, for me at least - those alone will be enough to occupy my always-scarce gaming time through much of 2010!

The Beatles: Rock Band (Am I the only one so far? What's up with that?)
Scribblenauts
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
Assassin's Creed 2
Grand Theft Auto IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Modern Warfare 2
Assassin's Creed II
Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines (PSP)
God of War/God of War II (PS3)
Dragon Age: Origins

Maybes:
Borderlands
Rock Band: Beatles

I had originally planned to get Halo 3 ODST but since I'm rapidly losing interest in most online gaming, I'm not sure it's worth the price as from what I hear, the single player campaign is pretty damn short.

It's been said by a few members of Bungie, including the lead designer of ODST, that the single-player campaign's length is just about equal in length to the actual numbered Halo games.

I was all excited for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 to be coming out, and then I discover it's not for PC anymore. :scream::scream::scream::scream::scream:

This is why I'm going to have to get an Xbox 360 or something this fall, because it's getting pretty clear now that game manufacturers are all but finished with PC games.

Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3)
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3)
Assassin's Creed II (PS3)
Wet (PS3)
Saw: The Videogame (PS3)
Metroid Prime Trilogy (Wii)

I feel you... I'm going to have to get an Xbox just to play The Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony

But, that's okay there's a few games on Xbox Live Arcade I really want too.

nothing i can think of is a "must buy" but there are a couple "maybes."
Perfect Dark XBLA
Ultimate Alliance 2
ODST
Dragon Age (if the game has no multiplayer i probably won't pick it up)

Well, I just got Command & Conquer: The First Decade on Amazon, so I'll probably play a bit of that. Since so few of them ever came out for Mac, there's a lot of stuff I haven't played (or at least haven't beaten) in that set.

Also just got Civilization 4: Beyond the Sword.

My brother recently gave my his copy of Battlefield 2142 so I may play that a little. And also his copy of the Hitman trilogy since I guess it wouldn't work on his machine....still have to find out if it does on mine.

Seriously? Well that's good to know. Then that puts it back on my list then. Thanks for the heads up.

yep, read that too.

Read a review of IL2 Stumovik (I can't spell) and it got a fairly good rating. As a former Crimson Skies fanatic I may give this a try-especially if the online community grabs onto it. Bring on the dogfights! 50 actual WWII planes to fly! Dynamic ground graphics and a flight system that doesn't lock you into continuous loops. Sounds like fun.

I don't really have any PS3 games to look forward to, but I'm eagerly awaiting ST Online and DCU MMO next year.
