Indy has, what, a six-shooter? Rambo has, ummm ... like every assault weapon ever made? Maybe if Indy's quick enough on the draw, otherwise ... swiss-Indy.
I love Indy but Rambo is bred/created killing machine.
It sounds like the OP is comparing the actors, not the characters. And Stallone appears to be in much better physical shape, so I have no doubt he would he would win easily.
The Ultimate Commie Killer vs The Ultimate Nazi Killer. Rambo is better trained, better equipped, a better thinker, feels no pain, has no fear, and is fucking crazy. But Indy has style and luck. And he has Shiva and God(both Christian and Jewish) on his side. Tough call.

I've seen recent pictures of him, and I'd say he looks pretty good for a man who's almost seventy.
Consider also, Indy's backed up by Sean Connery, Rambo's back up is Richard Crenna.
Nah, even with his back up dead, Rambo wins.
