The Vending Machine at work

The dairies have ruined chocolate milk. All I've seen lately is non-fat. I don't mind there being an option for the health conscious, but when I'm looking for chocolate milk I'm wanting to indulge myself!

I can't imagine dairy products like chocolate milk in an office vending machine. The potential for spoilage seems obscene.

^The machines are refrigerated. Most of the pre-mixed chocolate milk I've encountered has been Low fat, or 1%. I've only had Whole Milk Choco-milk once, and damn, was it good. B)

They raised the price on 12 ounce cans of soda from 65 to 75 cents today, at my job. :(

I'm about ready to go D-FENS on the bastards. Or bring my own soda to work. You know, whichever is easier.

I was in town last week, and I saw a vending machine that accepted credit cards. What the hell??

Our vending machine is through a Cadbury-Schweppes distribution affiliate, but we have the world's worst selection. We have Diet Rite, as a calorie-free option, but no Diet &W Root Beer. God damn it!

Gee, I've never heard of &W Root Beer.

Must be a generic brand.

How does Japan get away with having *beer* in vending machines?

Timby - love the Psyduck emoticon. :guffaw:
Apparently Japan didn't have a bunch of newly enfranchised religious zelots like the US had in the early twentieth century. Our zelots aren't quite as restrictive as those in parts of Africa and southern Asia, but still too willing to impose their moral values on those with different beliefs.

Or maybe there's just not a lot of alcoholics in Japan?

I always liked the refrigerated ice cream dispenser at my high school. It had a vaccuum head which would move to the right bin, "suck up" the snack, and then drop it down a hole for you.

I had one of these. I used to love to get the toffee ones. I could get 2-3 at a time sometimes.
