I'd only caught the first half of the pilot when it was on, and somehow got sidetracked from watching more of the series.
Boy, do I love Hulu!!!

I think I have a new favorite cancelled-too-soon DVD set to buy!

I really loved Day Break. Sorry there wasn't more of it. I mean, time loops, Moon Bloodgood, a well-conceived mystery...what's not to like? Plus it's got Adam Baldwin.

When it hit Hulu, I tried it, but I was easily distracted from it and didn't actually finish the pilot. I may try again when I have time to actually give it my full attention. However, usually a show I'm going to end up liking will demand my attention, rather than require that I make that effort. The characters didn't really grab me at all, even Adam.

Or Canada. Hulu is still utterly useless for 99% of the world.

Not the time loop itself, but the mystery, yes. There's one big loose end that "gets away", presumably for the sequel that didn't happen, but it works well enough as a 13-episode miniseries.
