I remember when Precious Cargo was shown for the first how much people disliked the princess character whoever coined her Princess Fishstick .Everyone starting calling that character that too.

Frenchman thanks for posting the link for the convention report. I wish there had been more news about Connor than just his appearence in the Closer.

yes, it's true. Someone on H.O.T confirmed that.

there were long time i thought he needed to change agent. I hope he will find a new one and a good, this time.

ps : he fired his manager, not his agent, i thought it was the same thing... sorry

That would be me - I was at the Stargate Con (even though I'm not a Stargate fan - my 5 year old son and I are big "Trip" Connor fans and he con was close to home).

Connor, rightly so, is looking for bigger roles, maybe recurring ones, NOT 10 minute pieces like the "Closer" episode.

He also said that he was flattered that the final episode of "Enterprise" was pretty much all about Trip, but he acknowledged that it was a big "middle finger" (his words) to the powers that be as to what they could do with the franchise.

He has done a couple of "books on tape" and he says they're a lot of work and don't pay very well. He's looking into doing some voice over work, too.

I sure hope he gets something really good soon. He's so talented.

I'm glad he's finally holding his handlers accountable for the low-profile roles. His "24" appearance was a huge disappointment, especially in light of the fact that Manny Coto and Brannon Braga are the show's producers. :scream:

oh, god, jinx, i'm so agree with you !!!! do you remembrer, one time, you said you suspected connor wanting bigger role ? you were right !!!

Manny said at Creation Vegas '08 that they wanted to give Connor a role where he could shine. Then we get a security guard who gets duped by terrorists and runs like a terrified rabbit when the shooting starts. Maybe 5 minutes of screen time at best.

Yeah, that was one heckuva an opportunity for Connor to show his stuff. :klingon:

well, i hope a new manager will avoid this kind of stuff. indeed, 24 was a missed opportunity. although, i'm more hangry about coto and braga than anything else.

And the manager stuff explains a lot of things.

Does anyone know the name of the episode of "The Closer" where he appears the whole, whopping 5 minutes?
