Have we done a poll on this subject before? Anyway, I'm just curious as to how often most regulars post on the BBS (MISC, SFF, and other forums).

While we're on the subject of posting habits, whom would you nominate as "Spammer of the Week"?

A. Rojohen
B. Miss Chicken
C. Jayson
D. Other (Specify)

:D

Don't I wish I could be spammer of the week but I don't think I have a chance.

According to my stats I average 6.05 posts per day. I mainly post in Miscellaneous and TNZ, occasionally in Science and Technology, TV & Media and SF&F. I rarely post in the Trek forums or in the Lounges.

Bah, those numbers mean nothing. According to my stats, my average daily post is 2.67. Right. I'm sure I do more than that.

I reply a lot more than I start threads.
My stats say 13.94 posts a day, but for the past few years it's been much more than that.

I currently have 33,907 posts.

I'm no good at spamming. I don't post as often as I should. I'm definitely not part of the 'in crowd'/cliques on this board. I wish I knew their secrets.

I don't qualify as spammer of the week? :(

Don't worry, I'm sure you're still a contender for Spammer of the Year. ;)

As for myself, I tend to post most often in the Miscellaneous forum, I think, as well as SF/F and General TV & Media. Oh yeah, and the Trek XI forum. I don't start too many threads, and I don't respond to them nearly as often as some posters.

Most of my contributions in the other Trek fora is usually limited to Five-Word-at-a-Time stories and caption contests these days (which has upped my daily post count considerably), but on occasion I'll respond to regular, discussion types of threads.

I rarely go into TNZ, and there are some fora (Trek art, fan fic, science & technology, etc.) that I virtually never go into.

According to my stats, I make an average of about 11 posts per day.

Psst. I'll tell you the secrets: (1) There is no "in-crowd"; and (2) there are no special secrets.

:guffaw: Suuuuuuuuuure there aren't. You're just trying to make me look harder. ;)

In any large gathering of people, there's always an in-crowd, and there are always secrets. These are the people who made Fleet Admiral within a bloody week of registering, who never say the wrong thing, who seem to be friends with everybody, who have the 'right' signature/appearance/political views/favorite shows & movies/yadda yadda yadda. Perhaps I seem a bit jealous. That's probably true. Although I'm not *bitter* about it, you gotta give me that much...

As for TNZ? Forget it. They'd eat me alive in there. They'd do to me what we Bleacher Creatures do to Red Sox fans. :p

Yeah, I don't think I'm on the radar because 99.9% of my time is in TNZ.

Now this I cannot figure out. You, of all people, in TNZ? How do you manage that? I always figured people like you were too nice to even be allowed in, let alone actually survive if you did go. This is not a flame, BTW. I'm genuinely curious.

 For some reason, my post count doesn't seem to go up - I'm stuck at being a Rear Admiral. It doesn't bother me much. I just thought I'd have more than 7,500, but I actually have fewer than that.

Hey man don't worry. It took me 6 years to get to this point.

I've started to read more than I post. The most posting I've done lately have been part of my viewing of all Babylon 5. Also, I have the subscribed threads feature on so I really focus on those and really haven't clicked into other threads for a long time.
