Can someone here draw me up a K'Tinga with a forward swept wing?

I'm looking for a K'Tinga with a forward swept wing and a narrowed centerbody (the center of the wing-section that the neck connects to) in the front a bit. I don't want the warp-pylons or nacelles changed at all.

Can someone help me out here?

Maybe Icy_Penguigo could tell you if something like that would be permissible as an X-Technology ship. I agree it would be interesting.

{EDIT} Totally right Psion, 2:30 in the night, never noticed it! (FIXED!) :)

That looks pretty neat, but the engines are backwards.

Come to think of it, that's not too far removed from the F-5 destroyer in Star Fleet Battles, either. I like Clawhammer's version a little better, though. Just turn the engines around and call it a day.

Here's a quick volumes study I whipped up using very rudimentary shapes.

And I agree with MarianLH ... it's very F5-ish, although I expect this ship to be larger.

Wow- does that ever have a Romulan vibe to it! I really like that!

The engines are correct. It's the rear hull and wings that are backwards.

They are now ... take a second look at Clawhammer's 8/21/2009 posting.

I loved this so much, I grabbed my old model, tore it apart, and reconfigured it into this design... It looks freakin' awesome.

    Clawhammer,

Not bad... the front of the centerbody is too narrow and the rear is too wide from what I'm looking for. Also, even despite the forward sweep of the main wing, the pylons that hold the nacelles, I liked the way they were swept aft.

With permission and to assist the creative process, I can take one of the images here, then make some corrections (using a pen) then scan the image in to illustrate what I'm looking for...

Well, you're welcomed to doodle all you want on my volumes study. And I'll update the model accordingly, fleshing the shapes out, or re-building them as needed.
