Obi-wan Kenobi fights Duncan Macleod

broberfett

If Macleod's sword was protected by the power of the quickening or some magical force, how would he do against Obi-wan Kenobi? So the Force vs. Centuries of combat experience and immortal power.

Gah, my inner Star Wars and Highlander nerds hate you for asking this.

But, I think Obi-Wan would still win. He's got the Force, MacLeod doesn't.

I think the natural instinct for most people would be to say Obi-wan, but I think Jango Fett gave Kenobi a pretty good fight. How much better would Macleod be than Jango Fett?

How many fights have we actually seen Obi-Wan win? The only two that come to mind he wins by almost pure luck, which is pretty ironic considering his stance on believing in luck

He-Man would defeat them both at the same time.

But then Captain Robau would kill He-Man.

Duncan?? Who cares, Connor would destroy either of them.

Conner was great in the first Highlander movie. His eyes were piercing, he spoke with a cool accent(which wasn't Scottish at all), and he was just awesome. He lost it after that. He just didn't have that same energy in the other awful Highlander flicks. I always thought that Adrian Paul(Duncan) looked like a warrior. His physique was always so much better than all the guest stars. Colin was very impressive in Highlander the Search for Vengence-from the maker of Ninja Scroll. It was the first time in years where they did it right.

If their blades were evenly matched, I'd have to go with Duncan MacLeod. He's spent the most of his 400+ years either fighting or training, in between helping as many people as he could. In fact, he was so goodly that I think Obi-Wan would have a hard time actually using any force powers on him. The Quickening energy is akin to the living embodiment of the Force (especially in the way Ramirez described it while training Connor), and Duncan has absorbed that energy a few hundred times over. Add to the mix that the only way to beat Duncan is by taking his head, and you have Obi-Wan on the run.

Now, Duncan vs. Yoda? THAT would be a fight!

If Obi-Wan can use the Force, he wins. If the Force is taken out of the equation (e.g. Obi-Wan is lumbered with one of those Force-muting creatures from the Thrawn trilogy, whose name I can't remember) then he's fucked.

Personally, I'd rather see Buffy Vs Highlander...

if obi stays true to the jedi ways, then duncan would win. although obi has the power to just quickly defeat duncan, he won't do all he can to win, even if by doing so it means saving a lot of people. why? that's the facepalm-inducing question. hence the fall of the "powerful" jedis.

I really don't think being good protects you from being Jedi hacked. A Jedi wouldn't choke someone, but they used that force push quite a bit.
