Post Your Ride: The Faster and More Furious-er Edition

^ Same here. Despite the fact that Clarkson says only cocks buy Audis, I'd get an RS4. If we didn't get a ton of snow in the winters I'd consider an M3 as well.
For Audi I'd go S5, BMW I love the M6, but I'm gonna try and stay with Sedans here (even though I am a Coupe man at heart) and say RS6 for Audi (no use having a sedan if I can't fit in it) and M5 for BMW. Even though I like the look of the M3 a bit more.

My real favorites are the Cadillac CTS-V and Chrysler 300c SRT8 (it's too bad it's so expensive to own and only comes in auto, otherwise I'd consider it, it's HUGE inside!), and the now late Pontiac G8 was pretty neat. I hope Saab will make a really good performance Sedan now that Koenigsegg own quite a bit of them.

And great pics Flux! That's the face of a proud new car owner if I ever saw one :D Also nice to see another man of proper height in a coupe.

As for your loaner, yes they are all that bad. At least the ones I've driven have all been terrible, terrible cars. And apparantly the EU Focuses are better then the US ones

I do :D Can't be blamed too much though, it's in my blood. Dad and his brother used to be big American car enthusiasts.

Here is my latest ride. It is made for riding mountain and rough terrain trails. I dont have a pic of that at the moment, but will see about getting one. It is called a Surly Conundrum.

your pic doesn't seem to be showing up . . .
maybe put it on photobucket or wherever

This isn't a tricked-out fancy sports car or any of that crap, but I love my Honda CR-V. Best car I've ever driven. And the *only* car I've owned which was anything like a decent winter car.

You know, styling wise I like a lot of American cars and I do love their V8s (especially the LS3), but I just don't care much for their interiors. The fact that most of their good cars are either overpriced or aren't sold over here doesn't help either.

Gotta agree there though, the Camaro is really one of the few American cars I really like interior wise. The CTS-V is okay, the 300C and consequently the Challenger and Charger are just...meh. But I will say that whoever knocks down American cars for materials really should think better when they compare then to Asian cars. Both Toyota and Honda have pretty lackluster plastics in most of their cars. Prius, Accord and Civic excepted.

And Jethro your ride got one nice wheel :D

And a Pathfinder, but I don't seem to be able to find a picture of it in my Photobucket account though I used to have a couple.

She - or another one of her kind - isn't mine yet, but hoping she will be, shortly:

For those not in the know, she's a manual 1998 Subaru Legacy GT - aka the one with the 2 litre engine with twin turbos . Test drove her last Sunday, and man, I was grinning like this -> :D when I'd finished. 206kW and around 6.5 seconds to 100km/h. In a word, awesome!

In the mean time I'm still driving my 1.8L 1995 Nissan Bluebird, still going strong despite what her previous owners did to her :techman:

I adore both of those vehicles and heavily considered both. They are virtually neck and neck in comparisons. But I'm not that loaded and had to carefully study total cost of ownership. I found the F to be the best deal. Many more options come standard than the German lines and my insurance company is still placing it in the premium bracket with the other IS line. It's crazy how relatively low my premium is.

While the German's make a better looking car on the outside, Lexus is better on the inside.

^ Any chance we could see some pics of the interior of your IS F?

And I hope my post you were replying to didn't come off as rude. I really like the IS F, but German cars have always been my thing which is why I said I'd prefer an RS4 or an M3. Besides, I'd never get the current RS4, I'd wait for the new one. It's bigger and the interior is much better as well.

And like I said, the AWD of the RS4 would be quite helpful in the winter. We always get a decent amount of snow and we've got quite a hilly roads that don't always get plowed right away. So you can imagine a RWD car with 400+ HP wouldn't do all that well in those conditions. ;)

here's my '06 Canyon

I was visiting my freind Laurie who took this picture.
It gets a Tonneau cover this Saturday
