costume and props display at Christa McAuliffe Planetarium in Concord,

Lieutenant Commander
Red Shirt
My wife and I took the little frieks to the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium in Concord, NH to hopefully make the stir crazy buggers happy for one day this summer. To my delight there was a few Trek items on display. They had Janice Rands uniform from TMP as well as two chairs that were in Gordie's quarters when he was having dinner with Brahms. They also had a God awful Enterprise model with a really bad paint job. Im tempted to go down there with my Polar lights 350 enterprise and say hey can you put this up instead.
any way here's a couple pics.

Nice pics! Good looking family too.

You're right - I don't know where they got that paint scheme... :vulcan:

I still would have gotten a kick out of seeing the Enterprise like that.

Of course, I'm notoriously easy to please.

Thanks for posting the pictures.

I noticed you have some tattoos. Any trek related ones?

Re: costume and props display at Christa McAuliffe Planetarium in Conc

Unfortunately no trek tats. I had a couple in the plans but I ended up on blood thinners. I have one tat that I only got the line work done and I cant even finish it.:wah:

^ aw, thats too bad. Does it look like you will be on them for life? (blood thiinners)

Re: costume and props display at Christa McAuliffe Planetarium in Conc

Yup. I have Atrial flutter. So when I go into flutter the blood can just sit and pool up which will make it clot. Big ass clot gets loose and you have the makings for a stroke or countless other scary things. Its funny too cuz I had some one at least try to do some shading and it just oozed blood like out of a horror flick. We had to just stop.

^ That sucks man. Sorry to hear it.

Re: costume and props display at Christa McAuliffe Planetarium in Conc

Is that condition treatable by that procedure they do? Where they go into the heart and burn the bad nerves? I've known a couple of people that had to have that done.

Re: costume and props display at Christa McAuliffe Planetarium in Conc

You hit that on the head. Ive had a bunch of cardiovertions which is when they shock your heart. And the thing your talking about is ablation. Ive had 2 of those.

Re: costume and props display at Christa McAuliffe Planetarium in Conc

eek. two of them? the daughter of a friend of mine had two of them (shes only 18!)...the second time it worked. She said it was a horrible experience. My uncle had one too. His worked. He IS a lot crankier these days tho...
