^ Funny you should say that....Pegg did once do a Shaggy thing in the first episode of Spaced back in '99....

ZOINKS!!!

I totally forgot about that episode! I loved SPACED when I saw it on DVD with all the commentary tracks included...I remember that one now! Yeah, that photo is just one Photoshop away from being a "preview scene" from TREK XII.:p

^ Was it the Region 1 release with the Tarantino/Smith/Various Extra People cammentaries you watched? If so, I hate you and all of your future evil, nightmarish brood with a fiery passion that borders on the insane.

:D

Yep. Kevin Smith being the most memorable one. Comedian Patton Oswalt is also on there for one episode.

^ That's it. I can feel the hate growing...questing...searching...becoming strong...

  :guffaw:

Why?

Cheesy commentary tracks from American celebs ruin the purity of the series or something?

Not at all! It's just that I WANT THE REGION 1 RELEASE FOR MY VERY OWN! I want to hear those commentaries and until I can afford to buy it I cannot....

So - it's jealousy, basically.

:D

:nyah:

Suck it, my Limey mate.

America...FUCK YEAH!

I just got back (minutes ago) from our $2 Cinema's showing of the new movie. Keenser is not as silly once I paid attention to the role as played by Deep Roy. The first few viewings I concentrated on the main plot and action; however, this time I looked for things posted by others on the board.
He does not talk much, but he and Scotty have a genuine friendship. His appearance at the end in StarFleet uniform means he's intelligent and capable. Perhaps his size and odd appearance reflects our innate prejudice toward alien lifeforms which are different from what we expect them to be.
Other than size and a penchant for climbing, Keenser does not do much that is silly, rather he is the 'straight man' for Scotty's antics.

The guy has what ? 2 minutes of silent screen time ?
Too much fuss over nothing really.
You are aware this is the TrekBBS, right? You know the place where people fuss endlessly over nothing. You do know that, SalvorHardin... right??:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

*ducks to evade shoe thrown by Salvor*

^ 'Tis James May from The Top Gears tellyprog. I did some not entirely non-unsubtle Photoshopping about his person for the Lulz And That.

:D

I did detect some not entirely non-unsubtle Photoshoppery, but I've seen very little of the program in question (was he in on the shuttle-style launch of the Reliant Robin?*) Actually, I hardly watch television, these days, even with the new FiOS hookup; it's a wonder I'm able to recognize anyone current at all.

* Edit: I see he was.
