Please HELP. It's off the SyFy Channel (U.S.) schedule

According to the current schedule up at syfy.com, TNG's Monday night showings end with the month of August, and the show isn't anywhere else on the schedule either (as of September).

Please don't let this happen.

This will be the third time in a row that a channel running TNG has cut out without running the entire series. SPIKE, G4, and now SYFY have all gone without running the entire series from start to finish. (Okay, SPIKE had it for years, but they never finished the last run.)

PLEASE, if you're in the U.S., write a friendly e-mail to feedback@syfy.com and ask them to put TNG back on the schedule, and to pick up where the Monday night run left off. (All we'd need is for it to start up again at the beginning, and STILL get pulled before getting to the end of year seven.)

Come on guys. Don't let TNG die on SyFy.

The Syfy channel is going to stop running TNG!? There is practically no Star Trek on TV anymore. TOS used to be on every day of the week, but now it's only on on Sundays. Voyager used to be on every day too, now it comes on at 3 AM once a week. DS9 isn't on at all. This is absurd. I may write an email, not that it will do any good. The programming director is clearly an idiot.

I don't know if this helps anyone outside Canada and this may sound like a dumb suggestion but bear with me. In Canada, at least in BC there is a channel called Space Network. It shows all 4 series and 5 days a week at least (not too sure about the weekends.) TNG is in the 7th season and I am not sure if they will continue it afterwords, but maybe you can get the channel through your provider? I'm not sure how all that stuff works but it was just a thought.

I'm pretty sure Space is still Canada-only.

It's driven me nuts how the SciFi channel has changed. I remember it in the late 90s when it had a lot of good stuff on it- the Star Treks, decent movies, MSTK3000- oh and NO fake wrestling. Then I went without cable/dish until this year and the channel has gone straight down the tubes, along with AMC and TVland (I'm not even going to get into the History Channel, and The Learning Channel). I'm beginning to remember that I didn't miss having dish at all and Netflix is a lot cheaper.

Well I thought I might throw it out there. Like I said don't know much about how this stuff works lol!!!

Sorry about the double post not sure how to delete once it has been posted.

I don't see what the big deal would be if TNG did stop running on television. The whole series is on DVD. You can watch it anytime you want.

Nope. It is going to be re-branded as Spayce. :p

This could be the start of a trend in American television. The stodgy old major networks can rebrand themselves for a youthful audience as Ay Bee See, En Bee See, See Bee Es, followed by the start of the Focks network.

I think they should move the whole series to a free online format like they did with TOS.

There is massive pent up demand. CBS was smart enough to put old Trek on the web. Somebody at Paramount is really dropping the ball.

Geez, are they seriously called it "SyFy" now??

I deprogrammed this channel years ago, so I had no clue.

I watch it on WGN at 1 am, but yeah not everybody gets that channel as someone else mentioned.
