Absolutely not, the purpose of writing is to impress upon others the scale of your achievements and to make them realise the glories of your world.

To do this a correct diction and a deep commanding voice is essential.

(ah, Skrain Dukat, he may have been a traitor and a murderer but that Cardassian had style...of course, all Cardassians have style so that's not surpising)

Or just the appropriate voice. I always imagine Peter Kirk and Saavik in my Ancient Destroyer Cycle sounding like more serious versions of the great 80's cartoon action heroes, ala Keith and Allura from Voltron. Nothing goofy, but a huge undertone of what TVTropes calls 'For Great Justice'.

Mmm ... it's getting kinda scary in here. Great challenge. But with scary prospects such as two Pava's and a flamingo dancing Akinola it makes things all the more scarier. looking forward to lots of the entries. We might see a Stonehouse challenge entry. Good, good.

Although, I should point out at this stage though that I'll be voting for Nerys, or PSGarak or Thor Damar. Why? I dunno ... it's as if some sort of subliminal message has been implanted in my mind. Agh! Run ... run for the hills ... the Cardassians are coming!
