I need a new comedy

PluckyNinja

Lieutenant Commander
Red Shirt
I'm out of shows to watch for now. I may have to resort to going outside.

I just finished Spaced. Not an all time favourite but I did quite enjoy it. I really love IT Crowd and The Mighty Boosh. Big Bang Theory and My Name is Earl are great as well. Any recommendations along those lines would be great.

Newsradio! I just re-watched it, and it's still quite good. Can't really go wrong with a combo of Stephen Root, Dave Foley and Phil Hartman. The last season sees a bit of a drop off, but you can't really hold them responsible for that...

Have you tried "How I Met Your Mother?"

The first two seasons of "Chef!" always make me laugh.

Enjoyed the first series of How I met your Mother (though the av may have given that away)

Scrubs is also fairly decent.

If you haven't already, watch Arrested Development. Funniest. Show. Ever.

Arrested Development is my all time favorite non sci-fi show ever!!
Requires a little more attention as they don't telegraph the jokes much of the time and the humour is very dry. Almost british like at times.

Annyong! I love Arrested Development!

I'm looking into Peep Show and some other suggestions. Thanks, and keep 'em coming.

If you liked 'IT Crowd', you'll like 'Black Books'

Also agree with 'Arrested Development'

The Inbetweeners, 2 series of 6 episodes so far, 3rd series just announced. Give it a fair shot and it's hilarious. I tuned out 10 minutes in to the first episode because I thought it was just stereotypical rubbish, bought the DVDs on the recommendation of a friend during a sale and loved the show.

^ While I've been enjoying a fair bit of US comedy, I find Philadelphia very, very meh. But that might be me. Don't like shows where the characters are really self centred (which is why I'm also no fan of Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Will & Grace).

I second this.

If you haven't seen it, or haven't seen it in a while, I recommend MASH.

And the original Get Smart.
