How lazy are some people getting when..?

Fixing the robots, and the robots will not work properly.

Not true! They'll be standing at the counter waiting to for the robot to say something. If a broken robot approaches.. well, they will stand there silently looking at the robot. Hell, they'll probably be expecting the robot to order a sandwich.

I set my alarm today for 11am, which should not be a hard time to wake up.

It's now almost 2pm, and I'm just getting out of bed.

On message boards, unless I'm really really interested in the subject, if it's more than a couple paragraphs I probably won't read it. I'm not lazy; I just don't care. I'd rather skip it and find a different topic.

I'm WAY too lazy to read those kind of posts if they aren't even broken up into paragraphs!

When it comes to forums, I wont a read a post that is just rambling on about whatever because it will bore me. If it is something interesting, sure, I might give it a read, but most things are just people complaining or talking about something I don't care about.

I think it's more about interest than lazyness.

I saw this one couple take the bus for like... four blocks? They paid two dollars each to go four blocks!!! However much time they spent waiting for the bus, they could've walked the distance.

I was going to read your post, but it appears to be mostly ramblings. :p

The long, silent, and vacuous stare I often encounter these days when approaching a fast food counter. The person behind the counter staring at me, the customer and source of their paycheck, like they are a farm animal in a pen. No comprehension.

I generally break these gulfs in communication with "I believe it's customary for you to greet me at this point and then offer to take my order."
What really gets me are the dolts who are in line ahead of you for five to ten minutes and still haven't decided what to order when they get to the counter. "Uh, hmmm. What have you got?"

:wtf:

:scream: I could kill.

the only time i do that is when i cant tell what they have until i am
up front .
:P

sometimes i go and get dunkin doughnuts for the people i work with.
they dont have the selection of the day written down anywhere so you cant see what they have until you get up front.

and sometimes i just cant read the over head menu until i get closer.

but yeah otherwise i agree.

Pot, kettle. Kettle, pot. ;)

I agree with most here, if it does not interest me, I'm not going to bother.

What I don't get, is why do people get annoyed and post about people not reading thier posts?

That is annoying. Also, I hate when people post only to complain.

What irks me more is people complaining about the complainers :klingon:

And people complaining about the people complaining about the complainers.

"Right. Don't labor the point."
