I Just Danced With a Vulcan Woman

Yes, it's true. It was swing dance night here, and I asked this attractive woman to dance. Afterward, we did the usual mindless chit-chat. It went something like this:

scottydog: So what do you do?

woman: I'm an actress.

scottydog: What have you been in?

woman: A few things. Ever hear of Star Trek Voyager?

*scottydog's jaw drops to floor*

I'll have to ask her if she got to keep any of the costume or props! I just re-watched the episode she was in, Repression, and there's a scene where she's walking down the corridor with Chakotay and he appears to pat her butt with his right hand. I'm DEFINITELY going to ask her about THAT!

Good luck man that is awesome news! Is she a trek fan like yourself? If so talk Trek, if not, then talk about something else. Is she into the whole actress thing or is it just a job for her? Don't gush if it is just a job. But if she likes the attention ask her about what is was like "on set".

Plenty of stuff to talk about, but ask questions about her. Try to make it look like you care.
