anyone else preorder wii sports resorts?

I've ordered it, mostly for the wii motion plus, but I actually liked Wii Sport and I think it might be worth.

I'm passing. I didn't care for Wii Sports and although the sequel looks to fix a lot of problems with the original, it's not worth anywhere near $60 to me. I'll probably pick it up in a couple of years used for like $20 or so.

I'll be getting it, I still have my $20 Toys R Us gift card from Ghostbusters the Videogame I need to spend.

I ordered it, I already have the new Tiger Woods Golf with Wii Motion plus.

It's a massive step up from the old golf games, the motion add on makes the game a lot more responsive. Small motions are registered much better making small puts possible.

It got a decidedly meh review on ign, but I'll probably get it anyway (motion control, plus some decent party games makes it worth it).

I hate the look of these Wii sports titles. Even EA's Grand Slam Tennis, which I really want to play. I want to feel like I'm in the game, playing the sport, not participating in a cartoon.

Hm, according to some Dutch sites it would be today or tomorow...
I got it at a local Dixons and i saw it at atleast 1 other store on the shelves...

Take note that if you buy Wii Sports Resort tomorrow at Toys R Us between 10 and 2 and are a Rewards R Us member (which you can sign up for free online) you get a $20 gift card on top of the $5 gift card for preordering the game.

I "pre-ordered" this today. I happen to be in my local Gamestop and the clerk was playing it when I came in. So I went ahead paid for my copy today so I can get it tomorrow just in case they don't have enough.

this game rocks. It'sexactly I wanted the Wii to begin with. I can't believe that it actually made me love wakeboarding and jetskiing. It's just awesome. I got two wii sensors so when I have a friend over we can both play!

I think it's a good game although not dramatically different than Wii Sports. Kind of "new and improved" version of that. I tried most of the games and played about an hour total and it wore me out.

I love the sword fighting, I look forward to someone making a good RPG in future using the new controller.

There are actually 3, not 2, old sports in this game...
Bowling and golf from Wii Sports, Tabletennis from Wii Play...
Bowling doesn't feel that different though, the other 2 are improved...

I enjoyed most of what I played (kind of "meh" about basketball) but I could tell the game experience would be greatly enhanced playing as multiplayer as opposed to me vs. the CPU. The swordfighting was fun but I swung like a madman and knocked CPU opponent senseless in about 3 or 4 seconds.

The archery was a lot of fun. Actually all of it was fun, I just figure eventually I'll get like I was with Wii Sports, and get bored with it.
