Cupid Escrow Service - aka Holdfast Matchmaking Inc.

I can't imagine a man as buffed up as you would have a small hot dog.

...I should point out that this is no reflection on RAMA whatsoever... but seriously, spend as much time in mens changing rooms as I do and that illusion will be shattered. I have photographic evidence (don't ask why) :p

With the 'buffed up' guys I know half of them have shrinkage issues with the amount of steroids, they take and one of them is so insecure he showers with his pants on. Most (not all, see the above RAMA line :p) are covering for something out of insecurities, only a select few I've worked with have actually done it out of passion/enjoyment.

You know that episode of Friends where Chandler complains incessantly about tiny little flaws in the women he goes out with? Like the girl's head being too big? That's me. On a good day.

Don't worry, it's perfectly normal. Seriously. Women love it. Though they might have to warm up a bit, first. :D

I love the speculation, but there are no problems with my "package", and yes I have pics but no one is going to see them.

RAMA

I've PM'd a few of the people I put on my list to let them know that they weren't sympathy votes. I'm married, I'm taken, I don't remember the last time I was single. And I'm not here to hit on anyone. But there have been a few guys here I've crushed on a bit, so I sent their names in to Holdfast.

It's not serious and I wouldn't be looking to pursue anything. But the list was a way of letting someone know that they've been found attractive, and that's what I used it for. I hope anyone on my list would take it as such.
You included past crushes? That would have added 2 or 3 names to my list. I thought I should be current so I gave only one.

Oh no, they're always a bit ongoing. :alienblush:

Why does no one have a crush on me? Oh wait, on second thought, I don't know if I really want to hear the reasons... :D

If only my personality matched my extremely good looks, no? ;)

You know, weirdly enough, they often actually do. I think subconsciously they figure they can be "the one" to change my mind. :D

That would suck. I hope that's not how I (or anyone else) got on the list. Makes the whole thing meaningless. :(
I'll settle for sympathy. It shows kindness. :D

It's like the BBS version of a pity-fuck. :D
Exactly. Better than nothing at all.

This is why I don't bother to exercise....

I still await all those who dare crush on me to unmask themselves. [All?! - someone] All. :D

:wtf: American guys (or anyone interested in American women) please disregard this advice. I don't think you'll be likely to get the same results as these two gentlemen. You'd probably end up with a very unhappy woman, that is, if her self-esteem is damaged enough for her to actually stick around.

You're quite right, it is absolutely the lower self-esteem girls that are attracted to this aspect of my nature, but frankly there are a LOT of them out there. Not that it's entirely gender-specific: there are a lot of low self-esteem guys out there too. And I have about the same low level of interest in dating either subset! :D

Obviously I don't actively critique anyone to their face; that would be just rude and unnecessary. But I'm not interested in a long-term relationship at this time, for a variety of overlapping reasons (one of which is my aforementioned fussiness), which means I tend to lose interest quickly. And it IS remarkable how that disinterest in pursuing a romantic relationship somehow generates ongoing interest from others. I'm sure I have one or two other assets that make me mildly attractive in one way or another, mind you. But I really don't think that's the whole story at all.

Oh, I thought that was what you were talking about.

That I have heard. I do feel it's something that most women eventually grow out of, but yes it's something that one may be much more suceptible to in one's 20's.

Very true. Our modern cultures seem to generate an inordinate amount of self-esteem problems, quite unfortunately. But it's easy to see why this happens.

I'm disappointed in this thread for the simple reason that I haven't gotten boob one in my inbox.

Not one.

Prudes. The whole lot of ya. Prudes.

You were correct. Though there is a bit of truth in there; it is an aspect of me to take subtle friendly jabs at such things that, deep down, do strike me as odd. I've found that it attracted the women with more self-esteem, since they don't mind; they can laugh about it. Those with low self-esteem are more likely to take offense at such observations. So it has a practical function, as well. :D
