Was Leela painted with wet teabags every day b4 filming?

The opening scene to the Face of Evil had the complete Seva Team in congress and the lot of them, English people born and raised in the rain, were a light shade of brown which made most Native American Indians seem almost pale faced. I never considered that Louise had anything but a rigorous trip to the beach or a tanning salon if such things existed in 1977, but as a collection, the lot of them were the same shade of nearly orange which has me wonder if Louise was wearing full body makeup from her proud forehead to the tips of her sharp little toes? The poor girl, how unusual for that period, I mean, it had to be a decade or two till Tan in a can was invented?

There is an absolutely horrible make-up test/PR shot where Louise Jameson is 'blacked-up', so it's likely she was wearing more convincing make-up on all exposed flesh during recording...

Then, in turn, I would like to be the one to help her wash it off...

Considering the Budget on the show during that period, my ideal job would be to run into the BBC Cafeteria and collect all the used tea bags for application.

I just knew that this thread was going to degenerate in this direction.

None of the Seva Team wore underwear, which for themost part was a timebomb to horror, so Jamie and Leela were companions of the Doctor who stolled about commando in the usual like, were there many others?

Dear god.

Imagine K9's line of sight when talking to his mistress?

Actually, the first airbrush was invented in 1876 by Francis Edgar Stanley. History doesn't tell us if he used his invention to paint the skin of young attractive women, but if he had any sense, he certainly did.

Trust me on this
