Revelation? No.
The individuals on the monitor during Brain of Morbius were never adequate explained.
If the intention WAS to shown pre-Hartnell Doctors, the show abandoned that idea fully.
Did not the Doctor (played by Richard Hurndall standing in for the late William Hartnell) say that he was the original, thus giving us the revelation that Hartnell's was the first incarnation?
Yes, he did.
The Brain of Morbius images may have been intended at the time to be pre-Hartnell Doctors; however the idea was subsequently abandoned. OTOH, I think The Cartmel Masterplan might have somewhat resurrected the idea...

Absolutely. However, some proponents of the "pre-Hartnell Doctors" theory even go so far as to claim that Richard Hurndall was not actually portraying the same incarnation of the Doctor as William Hartnell, but some previous incarnation (presumably the REAL first) with a passing resemblance.

That revelation predates not only The Five Doctors but The Brain of Morbius as well. The Three Doctors establishes Hartnell as the first.
