Anna--"He's a witch!!"--Karen is dead.

Anna karen who played the 'cutpurse' in All Our Yesterdays has died at age 94.

Kind of a minor pasiing as things go, but a lot of nice trivia is brought to mind.

She was married to Jeff Morrow till he passed away. His most famous role was in This Island Earth.
Of course, All Our Yesterdays is the episode where Kirk says he is from an island called earth. And the Prosecutor says, "I never heard of this 'Island Earth.'
Guess he didn't rent too many movies before he took the trip back in time!

She was the oldest surviving TOS actor until her death. Amazingly now there is not a single woman is the top 25 oldest TOS actors. Joanna Linville is now the oldest living female TOS actor.
The new 'oldest' TOS actor is Don Keefer "Assignment Earth' Hmn, Earth again!
His most memorable role is as the guy who Billy Mumy turns into a 'jack-in-the-box' in the famous Twilight Zone episode 'It's A Good Life.'
Jeff Morrow also did a twilight Zone episode where he was a spaceman trapped in a world that he was trying to escape from, called 'Ellegy'

RIP Anna Karen

She did a lot with a minor role.

Come to think of it, I always say "where's liiiibraryyyy?" like her when I'm driving the kids there. I did it just last night.

My daughter has no idea what in the Hell I'm referring to, but she laughs.

Joe, game, luv

Oh man, I love the character she played. I always LMAO at her drunken ramblings whenever I watch that episode (a personal favourite). "I'm game, love. Lead and I'll folluh..."

ROFL... that's the type of thing I get weird looks for from the family... mimicking lines from Trek, Python and movies, then figuring out no one's seen the TV show/movie by the looks on family members' faces.

^^^Totally unTrek related but one of the funniest lines (imo) ever delivered was on a "Night Court" episode. Japanese tourists who spoke no English witnessed Harry shove Mel Torme out of his highrise window. All this is off camera. A young Japanese man looked up and shouted in hysterical Japanese, which was subtitled, "Look out, here comes Mel Torme!!!!"

I find humor in the fact that he could recognize the falling form of Torme as he hurtled toward him from such a great height. Of course the epilog of the show explained that Torme landed on the tourist and had to appear in concert in a full body cast.

But often, in front of sane people (unlike myself), I will look heavenward and shout, "Look out, here comes Mel Torme!!!!

RIP Anna.
