New He-Man movie in the works.

That's right Warner and Joel Silver have greenlighted the long in development hell movie based on the popular 80's Sci-fi fantasy action animated show and action figure series.

John Stevenson who did the excellent "Kung Fu Panda" is gonna direct this movie and it's coming in 2011.

To piss off Davros and to please me to no end is a minor miracle! So it's finally greenlighted. I wonder what script they finally signed off on. I had heard some rumblings that Warner Bros wasn't too pleased with the Justin Marks Greyskull script and went a different direction. 2011 has been the target date over the last half year or so. I'm curious about casting details, Amy Adams as Teela!!! Frank Langella back as Skeletor!

The Evil Horde, yes. Just something acknowledging that Skeletor was once a member or something to that effect. I found Hordak and Horde Prime to be more interesting villains than Skeletor was.
