Issue 19 of the official Star Trek Magazine is starting to show up on newsstands and in subscribers' mailboxes and is our second Movie Souvenir Issue. In this bumper edition, there's all-new interviews with Eric Bana and Clifton Collins Junior from the cast and our exclusive behind the scenes material begins with two major features - Bob Orci and Alex Kurtzman answering questions about the script, the changes, and some of the queries people have been raising (including an explanation of how the movie was originally going to begin). Then costume designer Michael Kaplan shares 10 pages of exclusive designs, and talks about his influences. I'm sure the STXI Blu-ray special features will cover most of the stuff in the issues June-December 2009 issues.

Lots of good stuff in there, it was well worth my ten bucks.

But the cover, yikes. It's a ferociously airbrushed headshot of Chris Pine that makes him look like a Ken doll with plastic perfect skin.

i was told they probably hadnt come in yet. Apparently they do NOT inventory magazines...so no one could tell me if they actually had been in. But seeing that i went on the day they were supposed to be on the shelf and there were none, it was most likely they hadnt come in yet.
